Questions and Inquiry

Bloom’s Taxonomy Revised Version     This has sample/model questions, verbs for objectives, and instructional strategies.  This would be a handy site to have when planning units and for developing anchor charts with students as they grow in their ability to ask inquiry questions.  It helps students move from lower level questions REMEMBER & UNDERSTAND — which are required for establishing critical background information before students can  progress to the higher interest and higher level thinking questions APPLY, ANALYZE, EVALUATE & CREATE.

Historical Thinking       The key support to the new curriculum are the six Historical Thinking Concepts on the front page of this site. These are required elements of the new Social Studies, History and Geography Curriculum.
