*** Qualifications and Working Conditions in 1800s and early 1900s         This was the best I could find for early conditions and requirements to become a teacher in Ontario in the 1900s.

*** I recommend asking Principal, Madelle Thomas or Vice-Principal Mr. Norris for an interview to find out what the requirements are to teach in Ontario now.  You could also ask your teacher or another teacher what they had to do to get a teacher job.
